We are excited to announce that the SSHL will be back for its 8th season in the Winter of 2026-27.
Registration fees for the upcoming season are $325 per player for grades 4-9 and $450 for 10-12.
The SSHL is now open to all kids between grades 4 and 12. The objective of the league is to allow all kids the opportunity to play competitive hockey with an emphasis on player development. We will do everything we can to keep the league affordable, local (little to no travel), challenging and fun. We anticipate this being a fun but competitive league that will offer an alternative to traditional minor hockey.
This is a competitive league. All players must wear full equipment.
2026-2027 Season Features
- Three Divisions of 4 or 5 teams
- Guarantee of 14 Full Games consisting of 3-20 Minute periods including playoffs.
- Season will run from October 20, 2026 to March 15 , 2027
- Each player will be placed in one of three divisions. Teams will be created equally based on the age and skill of the players registered. We anticipate the divisions being based on the following
Div 1 - Grades 4-6
Div 2 - Grades 7-9
Div 3 - Grades 10-12
Certain players may be moved up or down based on skill
- SSHL will be a non-checking league
- Each player will receive a team jersey and matching socks for the season.
- Players will receive a combination of practice times. Practices will range from skill development to Team tactics.

- All games and practices will be at set times in Raymond with a some games in Cardston and Warner for each team.
- Each player will receive a unified coaching and instruction mandated by the league and relayed to all coaches.
- Schedules for the season will be announced in October so families can plan their winter in advance. All games will be scheduled in advance with most games played on weeknights with a few on Friday night or possibly Saturday.
- Each player will be insured by the league.
- High School Division will not have practices, but will have a 3 on 3 league in addition to the 5 on 5 league.
